Many health and compulsory health insurance (CHI) issues and problems can be clarified and solved from the comfort of your own home, whether online or by phone. This is particularly important during a pandemic. „E-services for the residents“ section (in Lithuanian language) of the website offers a wide range of online services: check whether a person is insured with CHI; find out what is the cost of treatment and medicines; order a European Health Insurance Card; check where you are in your queue for a joint replacement or a treatment facility, etc.

As the International Women's Health Day on 28 May approaches, Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, together with the , urges Lithuanian women to take better care of themselves and to undergo periodic health check-ups under the Breast and Cervical cancer prevention programmes.

The first women have benefited from the reimbursement of breast implants for breast reconstruction surgery, which was introduced by the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund this year.
